In the heart of the Milky Way, one of the most famous ski areas in the world with its 400 kilometers of slopes and more than 50 kilometers dedicated to cross-country skiing, stands the "Hermitage" hotel in Borgata Sestriere, one of the most important locations that have hosted the XX Olympic Winter Games in 2006. Skiing and holidays are just a stone's throw away: 150 meters from two of the main chairlifts in the "Monte Banchetta" area (home of the Kandahar Olympic downhill slope) and a few meters from the town centre. Throughout the area there are modern artificial snow systems, which guarantee a ski season from the beginning of December until Easter. But what would a day of skiing be without après-ski? The Sestriere area is a cosmopolitan and lively ski resort that attracts many foreign and Italian visitors. Various bars, restaurants and clubs are found on the slopes and in the main population centres. In a familiar and comfortable environment, you can enjoy Italian, international cuisine and, of course, delicious regional cuisine. Whether you enjoy a dinner included in your half board package or an evening visit to our restaurant, you will be treated to an excellent culinary experience. Our team will assist you in your gastronomic choices, served with a fixed menu with several choices, as well as providing you with expert advice in selecting a wine from our cellar. The comfort rooms, furnished in mountain style, are comfortable and equipped with flat TV, private bathroom with shower or bathtub.
