Rurabilandia® is a NATIVE educational and social farm, conceived and created - within an important, extensive and historic public agricultural company - for educational and social purposes. It is not a farm that inserts the social and ethical component into the "productive" processes, but it is the "productive" process that is immanently ethical and social.
It is a structure, inaugurated in 2008, registered in the register of educational farms, in that of social farms, which is available to schools, institutions, associations and families to build, in a community manner, didactic, educational and games for children and teenagers. The farm is a place where children with physical or mental disabilities, even serious ones, participate in agricultural workshops, collaborate with operators, interact with guests and undertake training and job placement in agriculture.
It is a real farmhouse, with catering activities, ideal for families with children, where people with psycho-physical disabilities and their families are employed as operators. Through teaching and catering activities there is also research, rediscovery and transmission of knowledge, flavors and local traditions.
It is a welfare community project, a local community of well-being that represents the place, material and immaterial, where members of the local community have the tools to meet and take action in order to generate and receive social benefits.

Overlooking the greenery, our cuisine welcomes you with typical regional flavours, made directly by us or by local farms. Delicious dishes, wine from our lands and a special welcome: our dining room and kitchen staff, in fact, is also made up of men and women with mental or physical fragility.
